Attention: This workshop DOES NOT provide job search credit for individuals claiming Unemployment Insurance benefits and is for people with disabilities.
DVR (Department of Vocational Rehabilitation) Job Club is for people with disabilities who are motivated to return to work. All persons with disabilities are welcome to attend. DVR staff will present fresh material each week as well as job search topics such as interviewing, resumes, cover letters, responding to an employer via email, networking, dressing for success, and disability disclosure, in addition to periodic guest speakers. Information will also be provided on how to apply for vocational rehabilitation services if not already connected with DVR. Please “Dress for Success” when attending.
Please Note: All workshops and labs are on a first come, first served basis. Please allow time for parking, which is limited, and sign-in prior to the start of the class as there is no late admittance. Out of courtesy to other customers and due to space limitations, children are not allowed in workshops or labs. If you are in need of accommodation or translation services to participate in this workshop, please notify the Front Desk in advance.
