When you register for Elevate America, you'll get an access code for the training of your choice.
Use the course descriptions below to decide the courses that are right for you. If you need help deciding, call or email the WorkSource technology trainer (see Contact ).
Basic learning: If you're an absolute beginner when it comes to computers, start here: www.microsoft.com/digitalliteracy.
Intermediate--Windows 7 and Office 2010: Choose from beginner, intermediate and advanced courses in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint as well as Windows 7.

Advanced/IT Pro: These technical training courses are for IT professionals. They lead to certifications in servers, networks, database development and more.

Testing and exams: After you complete an e-Learning course, you can request an access code for the test prep course and then for the certification exam. Contact the WorkSource tech trainer for more details:
What technology do I need in order to take the training?
For intermediate level Windows & Office e-learning, you will need:
- The same version of software on your computer as the training. For example, Office 2010 e-learning requires Office 2010 software.
- A PC computer (recommended for best performance) with downloads enabled
- Internet Explorer (recommended for best performance)
