For your convenience, we offer an on-line workshop calendar that allows you to identify workshops we offer throughout Seattle-King County. Workshops are categorized as follows:

Introduction to Services

These classes include a review of WorkSource services and resources, as well as information about special programs and training opportunities you might be eligible for.

Career Planning

These classes identify your transferable job skills, assess your strengths and preferences, and help you build confidence as you recognize the unique qualities you have to offer employers.

Job Search

These classes review effective job search tools and strategies, including researching the labor market, networking, and looking for work on the Internet.

Getting Hired

These classes address completing applications, writing resumes and cover letters, and preparing for interviews.

Computer Skills

These classes provide hands-on training in basic computer operations, introductions to software applications, posting your resume on-line, and navigating the Internet.

Self-Employment

These classes provide information, resources, and tips for becoming an entrepreneur and starting your own business - taught by the Small Business Administration.

Other Classes

These classes cover other topics not mentioned above.
