Description:
This session will include:
§ A general overview of Workforce Funding Programs, Financial Aid, and other
potential funding sources for training at WA State Community & Technical
Colleges.
 
We may be able to help pay for tuition, books, and supplies, if you:
§ Are currently receiving – or are eligible to receive – unemployment benefits
§ Received a layoff notice
§ Have exhausted unemployment benefits within the last 48 months
§ Are formerly self-employed and closed your business due to economic conditions
§ Have lost income because of a divorce/separation
§ Are a veteran discharged within the past four years
§ Are currently working and need to upgrade skills to remain employed
§ Are currently receiving federal food benefits from DSHS
§ Are low-income
§ Are currently receiving TANF (cash assistance) from DSHS
